Power Grid Alain Haché Close game: everybody builds 15 houses, all of them powered except for Ian with 14. Alain wins the tiebreaker with 77 dollars left. Pascal is a close second, being only 2 bucks short of building and powering 16 houses.

Played at Stephan's place. MISKPA. Happy birthday Alain (tomorrow), though he misses the first game because he’s dining out with his union colleagues on the proletariat’s dime. Before the games we discuss the various rules for Carcassonne. After the games we discuss Mike’s underwater camera and its waterproofing test tonight in one of Stephan’s buckets.

Stephan and Mike and psyching themselves up for Jean Desforges' last ever chess simultaneous in Moncton tomorrow night (he will retire this summer and move back to Montreal). Mike will try to repeat his success of last year while Stephan will try to avenge his defeat.
