Played at Stephan's place. KASPI. The last meeting before the holidays. We celebrate our interpersonal harmony by playing a new coop game. Unfortunately, Mike is MIA because of a budding cold, and it shows: the drink of the night is a dark ale from Edmundston, brought by Kevin, rather than a vodka mix.

Mysterium Alain Haché, Ian Stewart, Kevin Caron, Pascal Werlberger, Stephan Reebs Stephan teaches the game and acts as clue-giver. And we win in decisive fashion. What harmony!
Timeline Alain Haché We play a variant that Alain brought with him: the cards are animals and we have to guess their length, or weight, or lifespan. We start with weight.
Timeline Pascal Werlberger Second go at it, this time with lifespans. To his shame, zoologist Stephan does not win!

Played at Stephan's place. CAMPS. We take advantage of the fact that Carlo replaces Kevin to play a good 5-player game that Kevin doesn't like. We also look forward to Alain's birthday bash / deferred Thanksgiving turkey sacrifice in two days.

Antike II Stephan Reebs Stephan defends his title successfully, this time with a science strategy, from Carthage.

Played at Stephan's place. ASKMIP. Lots of chatting tonight, so we squeeze in only one game. (Well, three, really.)

Codenames Alain Haché, Kevin Caron, Stephan Reebs Kevin and Stephan do well as clue givers, but as clue guessers they let the hat trick "slip" from their grasp with an obsession for pink whales.

Played at Stephan's place. SKAMP. Insight lands on Mars. And a new game lands on the table at the HFG (well, the game is old, but tonight it is played for the first time).

Show Manager Mike Gerdov 52 points for Mike in the inaugural game. Only Kevin comes close, with 48 points.
Perudo Pascal Werlberger Three dice left. And with this victory, Pascal clinches the Man of the Month title.

Played at Stephan's place. KSIMPA. "Yuge" night for Pascal, who wins every game (though the three wins at Codenames count for only one point). He will no doubt celebrate with some Speyside whisky from the Fredericton Whisky Fest.
