Codenames Alain Haché, Ian Stewart, Pascal Werlberger 2-1. Fun fact: in one game, the word “note” is given as a clue for “cliff”, and in the next game the other team uses the word “cliff” as a clue for “note”.

Played at Stephan's place. PISKM. It’s gadget night: a 125X gear multiplier from Teymouth Plastics; a portable UV disc illuminator from Mike; and a made-in-Austria spring-loaded bottle opener from Pascal, complete with a nice wooden exterior. Thanks Ian for the popcorn.

Played at Stephan's place. MASPIK. The highlight of the night is Alain showing up disguised as a hippie from the 70s, complete with afro, tinted glasses, moustache, golden necklace and bracelet, and flowery shirt. Awesome anticipation of Halloween (scary!).

Oltre Mare Ian Stewart Stephan sits aside and teaches an old game he’s owned for many years but never played: Oltre Mare (5 players max). Extremely close final scores: Ian 46, Mike 45, Kevin and Alain and Pascal 44.
Tsuro Pascal Werlberger Pascal carves out a quarter of the board that nobody manages to invade and he wins with three squares remaining.

Played at Stephan's place. MASIK. Poor Pascal is under the weather for the third week running. Get well, Pascal!

Citadels Mike Gerdov Mike gets the bonus for being first to eight buildings and for having five different colours, and he wins with 33 points.
Perudo Stephan Reebs Stephan sits in Pascal’s chair and it works for him. Two dice left against Ian.

Played at Stephan's place. KSAMI. Teymouth Plastics comes through once again with a Gerdov original design, this time of a pawn/phallus that screws itself, literally. We also discuss the algorithms used by social media to target ads.

Wits & Wagers Stephan Reebs It all comes down to the last question and Stephan’s knowledge of American history, more precisely the year the White House started to be built. The big payoff gives him 133 points.
Category 5 Kevin Caron With Hurricane Milton hitting Florida tonight and Helene having devastated six states last week, we have to play Category 5. Only three rounds before Ian goes over, and Kevin gets only three little gusts of wind on his house over those three rounds.
