Endeavor is a game that has lingered on the HFG's shelves for almost a decade without being played, but Pascal has recently seen a video of its newest implementation, and that's all the incentive we need to give the game a go. And speaking of Pascal, he wins with 61 points, 4 more than Ian.

MASKIP. Pascal takes the annual group picture. We get Alain’s report about his week vacationing in the Dominican Republic, and sample the rum he brought back. We learn that AI will never replace physicists (but it’s good at making paintings).

Ian Stewart

A valiant fight by Kevin whose only dice left was facing four of Ian's in the final face-off. He brought it down to a one-on-one last throw, but Ian finally prevailed. |

PSAM. Happy birthday Mike (yesterday)! To celebrate, Irina makes a delicious lemon torte which we devour. Then we play a newish game (Alain has never played it, Stephan and Mike have played it a few times quite a while ago, and Pascal is an old hand at the 2-player version of it).

Pascal trails in last place for most of the game, but he scores two major objectives late in the game (the only player to reach all three objectives) and that's enough to pass Stephan and beat him by 13 points, with a total of 157. |
